Zur Fortbewegung an Land nutzen die Palmers das praktische Tierrettungs-Quad. Tierarzt Jamie kommt damit zügig von A nach B und nutzt es auch, um schneller zu verwundeten Tieren zu gelangen und diese vor Ort mit dem Arztkoffer zu behandeln. Mit der Geländekarte können sich die Palmers gut orientieren. Zum Quad gehört auch ein Transportanhänger, mit dem verletzte Amazonasbewohner in die Tierpflegestation gefahren werden können. Einen verletzten Jaguar bringt Jamie in die Tierpflegestation, damit er sich dort intensiver um ihn kümmern kann. Das Quad ist Tierambulanz, Transportmittel und Hilfsfahrzeug in einem, das mithilfe der Seilwinde auch Hindernisse aus den schlammigen Pfaden des Amazonas ziehen kann. Neben reichlich Tierarztzubehör ist auch ein Stickerbogen mit Verbandsetiketten zum Verarzten der Tiere enthalten. Der auf der Bodenplatte befestigte Baum kann umkippen und wieder aufgestellt werden.
